FAQ
At Kayu Living, our goal is to provide you as a customer with safe and professional service. Please see our terms of purchase, which comply with current legislation and our guidelines. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via the contact form above.
Shipping fees
Within Sweden, Kayu Living sends your goods to your nearest pick-up point via Posten or DHL/Schenker.
The shipping cost is 69 SEK per shipment, except for bulky goods and larger deliveries.
Delivery is made to a pick-up point near you as the recipient. When you receive a notification via SMS, letter, or email from the transport company, your package is ready to be picked up at the designated pick-up point. Please bring your tracking number, any PIN code, and your identification. The package remains at the pick-up point for 14 days, after which it is returned to Kayu Living. Smaller packages are sent with Posten's package letter and will be delivered to your mailbox.
Furniture and bulky goods
We have different shipping levels for larger deliveries. This will be displayed in your shopping cart before you confirm your order. Bulky goods will be delivered to your home. Special request in regards to shipping, please contact Kayu Living via email.
Delivery time
The delivery time is normally within 7 business days from Kayu Living for in-stock items. If the product is listed as a special order item, it means we do not have the product in stock, and we will order it specifically for you when you place your order. Sometimes it may take longer because many of our products are handmade and transported long distances. We will send the item to you as soon as we receive it in the store.
If an item is temporarily out of stock or if the delivery time for special order items is extended, we may split your delivery at no extra cost to you. Otherwise, the longer delivery time will apply. We reserve the right to unexpected delivery delays caused by our suppliers or postal services.
If a delivery delay occurs, we will notify you via email. You have the right to cancel your purchase in the event of delivery delays. Kayu Living always strives to fulfill your order in the best possible way. There may be occasions when it is impossible to fulfill an order, such as when our supplier cannot fulfill their commitment to us. Compensation is not provided in the event of a delivery delay.
Purchase
An order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from Kayu Living. Our database automatically generates the order confirmation without manual review, which may lead to potential errors. If there are errors, such as incorrect pricing or delivery time, Kayu Living reserves the right to correct them afterward.
If you order products that are special order items along with in-stock items, we will wait until the entire order can be shipped together.
Ordering
There is no minimum order value; all orders are welcome. When ordering, we reserve the right to log your IP address. We handle your personal data in accordance with the Swedish Data Protection Act (PUL). You can cancel an order by phone or email until the item has been shipped.
If the product is listed as a special order item, it means that we do not have the product in stock, and we will order it specifically for you when you place your order. We will order your product as quickly as possible after you have placed your order. Delivery time varies depending on the product. An order confirmation will be sent to your email address. We will contact you personally for more information.
The right of withdrawal is the same for special order items, but the cost of ordering the item and shipping it to you will be billed to you if you cancel your purchase. This includes the shipping cost to us and back to you, which is especially important to consider when ordering furniture and lamps from us, as shipping can be expensive for large, heavy, and bulky items.
